Description:

Razor and carrying case with its original packaging and instruction leaflet. The razor dismantles to fit within the case which also contains a spare razor in a paper packet. Marked to the rear of the head with MADE IN ENGLAND and the Souplex oval trademark.

These can be found in various pastel colours including pink, yellow, and white.


Production dates:

c.1930-40

Souplex Ltd, of Morecombe (England) formed in 1926 and had offices in Sheffield and London. They made shaving products for women under the Nymph label. Souplex incorporated as a company in 1960 and their manufacturing focus moved to producing specialised plastics.

Width: 3 inches, Height: 6 inches, Depth: 2 inches


Materials:

Early phenolic plastic case, card and Swedish steel.
